As the day continues

 

Brilliant sunshine and a pale blue sky make a lovely day and, here just after 3:00pm, the winter position of the sun is just above the third panel of the two french doors in our salon dejour. After an hour drive to the Market I have returned home to examine the newest purchase. This 1956 painting by an unknown artist works well in the salon because of its color and subject.
